As you enter the church from the center doors, you pass through a small entry foyer protecting the interior building from the outside temperatures.  Here also on the opposite sides are the bathrooms and a small drinking water fountain.  As you leave the entry foyer, you enter into a large gathering area, which will house an immersion pool for Baptisms.  To the left you will find the Vesting Sacristy for the priests.  On the right exists a meeting room which will also serve as a bridal room for weddings.  The large chandelier from our present church will be hung over the Baptistery and will be visible from the outside, through the large windows.  The doors into the church will be flanked by glass walls, which is envisioned to be etched with scenes of the life of St. Francis and the Baptism of the Lord.  All this glass will likewise allow this area to be used for over-flow crowds at Christmas and Easter.

The church proper will seat 700 in a combination of pews and chairs.  The 180-degree arrangement focuses our attention on the altar and reflects a true feeling of "gathering."  Behind the rear altar screen is a ramp, which will give altar access to those with disabilities.  The choir area will be on the front left.  The front right area will be used for general or special liturgy seating, along with seasonal displays such as during Easter and Christmas.

On the right side of the Altar, accessible from the altar and its own entrance at the rear of the church, is the Chapel of Eucharistic Reservation.  This small chapel will house the tabernacle and will be a place for private prayer and devotion.  Crystal glass walls will angle in front of the tabernacle illumined by special lighting so as to be visible from the sanctuary.  This chapel seats 44 and may also serve for daily and other smaller special liturgies so as not to heat the entire sanctuary during the week. The chapel will have its own small entry vestibule, a bathroom, particularly for the convenience of adorers, and access to the work sacristy that lies behind the altar.

To the left and right of the main altar area will be a niche in which statues will be placed, as well as in other strategic areas of the church.  Devotional candles will be found in the chapel.

The Reconciliation Room will be located to the left rear corner of the sanctuary. This room is located here to assure as much privacy as possible.   This room will also function as a small meeting room and possible religious library. Also located the right rear corner is the Acolyte Vesting Room for all the liturgical participants along with a sound/video/lighting closet to support the taping of liturgies for broadcast on local cable TV.
