BETHLEHEM
HOUSE NEEDS
Bethlehem House is in desperate need of
good, clean cribs with spaces between the bars (must be 2 ¼ inches or
less – this is a state law). Also, good, clean mattresses and good,
clean bassinets. Please call Bethlehem House at 262-8517 (Pam) or 536-5544
(Aline) to set up a time for dropping off the items at our new Holyoke
office. |

BEREAVEMENT
GROUP
If
you have lost a spouse, family member or someone close to you the
Bereavement Group at St. Francis is ready to welcome you. It is a place of
quiet confidential discussion among others who have suffered loss. Come
tell us about the life of the person you lost, share your loss or just sit
and listen. There are no requirements or dues. Everyone is welcome. It is
a special non-judgmental place where people listen and care. The
Bereavement Group meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at
7:00 PM in the Tovet Room at the church. |

BIRTHRIGHT
OF AMHERST
Annual Mother's Day Rose Sale
Birthright
of Amherst is sponsoring their annual Rose Sale on Mother’s Day weekend,
May 10th & 11th. Volunteers will be at the doors
of the church after all the weekend masses selling real roses. The
requested donation for each rose will be used to help mothers who have
chosen life for their babies. |

PANTRY NEWS
The St. Francis of Assisi Food Pantry is in
need of
flour, sugar, instant pudding/Jell-O.
We
are very grateful to all who donate items to keep the Pantry supplied.
