Welcome to the Saint Francis Church Faith Formation Program! We hope that you will find the support from our program that you seek for both you personally and for your family.

With the 2004-2005 year, we introduced the "Generations of Faith" religious education program for all members of our parish community. Generations of Faith is a new approach to faith formation that is life long and intergenerational. It is intended to serve the whole parish--children, teens, college students, young adults, single adults, parents, grandparents, elders--as everyone learns and grows together. This program will prepare all parishioners for meaningful participation in church events and encourage them to apply the learning to their lives as Catholics. If you have any questions about the Generations of Faith program, contact the Religious Education Office at 323-6272 ext 2.

CONFIRMATION SCHEDULE

December 4: "Romance Without Regret" - Relationships

December 6: Lighting of the Creche, 6:30 PM (front of business offices/old rectory) (party in the Social Center afterwards)

January 22: "Peace works" - Guest presenter from Catholic Charities (CHCS)

March 4: "Beyond Confirmation" - Using the gifts of Wisdom and Right Judgment (CHCS)

March 25: Parish Mission with Elms College Professor, Fr. Warren Savage, 7:00 PM (Church)

April 5: Holy Thursday Mass, 7:00 PM (Church)

April 29: Confirmation ceremony Prep - Anointed for and BY Christ (CHCS)

May 20: Spring retreat, 2:00-9:00 PM (beginning in Social Center and ending at the Church, parents and sponsors are invited to attend the closing Mass)

May 25: Confirmation rehearsal with Sponsor, 6:00 PM (Church)

May 26: Confirmation Ceremony with Bishop Timothy McDonnell, 4:00 PM Mass

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CANCELLATION NOTICE

Please tune to the listed radio and TV stations to hear cancellations. WHYN radio 560 AM, MIX 93.1, KIX 97.9, and WWLP TV Channel 22. Cancellations will also be posted on this Web site's home page and on the religious ed office phone voice mail (323-6272 ext. 2).

Since we offer the program three times on a weekend, we may be able to conduct some sessions on a bad weather weekend. If the whole weekend is cancelled, check your schedule for the snow date.
